What is ROI (return on investment) in sports betting? Your profit as a percentage of total amount wagered over a sample of bets. In plain terms: return on investment is profit divided by everything you put at risk. It's the honest measure — and sustained positive ROI is genuinely hard. “Been crushing CLV — too bad the ROI don't tell the same story.” Let's use this example. Ten thousand dollars wagered across a season with five hundred dollars of profit: five hundred divided by ten thousand is point zero five — a five percent ROI. Small-sounding numbers are the real ones: even the sharpest bettors live in single digits. Lines and prices can differ by sportsbook. Nothing here guarantees a result or tells you to bet. Lines move and books differ. Nothing here is a guarantee or a command to bet — it's how the number works.
